Reflection on Privacy and Big Data

My privacy is important to me. I like to have my own space and my own time, and only people who are really close to me know a lot about me. That’s why I’d prefer my information not to be sold or traded. It’s unsettling but unfortunately it’s a part of my life right now because of my internet connected devices. At the moment it’s not too much of an effect on my life. The ads and recommended articles and videos on certain websites are scarily accurate but other than that there aren’t many visible affects on my life. Overall I’d like it to stop but it’s nowhere near the biggest concern in my life right now.
